Answer: False. The older connectors are a common source of leaks, but they were made of un-coated brass. The newer ones are made of coated brass or stainless steel and do not deteriorate and are not a common source of leaks..


4. What is an eductor?
Answer: An eductor is a dewatering device that uses the venturie principle and atmospheric pressure to siphon water past a jet of water supplied by a pumper. It can safely pump water that contains small particles of debris.
